Last Oct 17 was a day of active fun and excitement for over a hundred ICA alumnae, students and friends. After almost a year of holding recollections, masses, talks and cooking classes, VP for Sports Kaye Cruz Chan organized the first ever ICAAA Badminton Friendship Tournament at Centro Atletico.

But on September 26, 2009, during the major onslaught of Typhoon Ondoy, when a nearby river swelled and engulfed their village, a brave 18-year-old man swam relentlessly against the current from noon till midnight in an effort to save family and neighbors.

ICA Batch 77 had a half-day recollection with Fr. Ari Dy, S.J. last September 2, 2009 at the ICA Alumnae Board room. Our batch was very blessed to have Fr. Ari as our facilitator before he left for London for his 5-year studies. Eleven members of batch 77 attended the recollection together with Sr. Dina Ang & Sr. Teresita Canivel.
